As you know, I’ve been on a remodeling kick. I’ve managed to transform my kitchen into a modern escape, and my back yard and patio have never looked better. I recently found outstanding deals on some outdoor chair cushions for my new patio furniture, but I was still in the market for an affordable pool cover for our pool in the backyard.
We added a pool a couple of years ago after we decided that having a pool of our own would be more convenient and less expensive than packing up the kids every day in the summer and paying the $3 admission fee for each person. Of course, everyone loves wasting their days away lounging by the pool and throwing a beach ball around, but it seems like I’m always the one who’s stuck cleaning it, adding chemicals and taking the necessary steps to prepare it for the colder months; which is why I am searching for affordable pool covers.
Anyone who owns a pool understands what a huge responsibility they are. I always urge people who are thinking about adding a pool to their home to factor in the long term costs of upkeep and maintenance. For us, a pool made sense; we have children, and need an affordable activity to keep us entertained during the warmer months. However, for those who won’t get much use out of a pool, I recommend purchasing a monthly pass from a public pool; it’s easier on the pocketbook and it saves a lot of time in maintenance.
Since I am a proud pool owner, I am always on the lookout for ways to save. I have always found Pc Pools to be extremely reasonable, and their customer service is outstanding. Sure enough, after shopping for pool covers on their site, I was able to find one that fit my pool, and my budget, perfectly. What can I say; I’m a natural when it comes to scooping up great products at great prices!
